This etude can be found in Hite – Melodious Studies Book 2, page 1. It is the from Gambaro 20 Caprices. Below is a little history of Gambaro that I found interesting. I can’t imagine playing this etude on a 13 key clarinet.
Giovanni Battista [Jean Baptiste] Gambaro (1785-1828)
- Active in both Italy and Paris
- Developed a publishing firm in Paris
- Used a 13-key clarinet
